Use the worksheet

Enter two different dictionary words and create a worksheet, or pick a practice range and generate another pair. A four-change puzzle has five rows including the endpoints. The blank worksheet always prints empty middle rows, even after on-screen play. The answer button prints only the answer sheet.

Typing a legal next word advances your on-screen trail. A longer valid trail can still reach the target. Start over resets only this worksheet. Your work here is temporary and does not change any saved game. A shared link carries the endpoints only, without your answer or trail.

Dictionary and learner suitability

These tools use the same fixed 5,528 four-letter words as the home game and Solver. The source list is CC0; dictionary utilities are MIT licensed. It includes uncommon, dated, offensive and adult terms. It is not a children’s safe word list. A low step count does not mean familiar vocabulary. Review both the words and the complete answer before using a worksheet with learners. Sources and licenses.
