HOW TO PLAY

Follow neighbouring letters. Turn corners.

Make words of at least three letters by joining neighbouring squares. Horizontal, vertical and diagonal steps are allowed, and a path may turn. Use each square only once in a word. There is no timer: End round closes the round and shows your final result, even if you have not found every word.

Controls

Drag with a mouse or finger, then release to check. Or click/tap squares in order and press Check word. Tab and Enter/Space select squares; typing a word and Enter checks for a legal path as a keyboard alternative. Escape/Clear path cancels. Leaving the grid, interrupted touch or switching tabs clears the path.

Scoring and progress

Each new accepted word earns one point per letter. A repeated word earns nothing. Only this grid’s fixed reviewed vocabulary counts; extra real words and unlisted forms receive a clear message, not points. End round freezes your score; unfinished letters do not count. Refresh restores the current round and its ended state.

Start over asks before clearing your progress. Saving failure does not block play. Clear browser site data to remove local records; no device sync.

Tips

Look around every letter, including diagonals, and try paths that change direction. Word Search hides complete target words in straight lines; Word Hunt lets you build several words freely along adjacent squares. The optional practice list reveals answers, and Hint gives one word’s length and opening letters.
