How to play Path to TRAIL
Type a five-letter word and press Enter or Add step. For example, BRAIN → TRAIN → TRAIL takes two changes. Reusing a word in the same trail is not allowed. Undo removes your last step; Restart clears this trail. Trail Helper offers a letter position, a replacement letter, then the next word. If a detour closes every unused-word route, undo or restart.

Daily changes at 00:00 UTC. The site updates after its daily build, normally scheduled at 00:05 UTC; updates can be delayed. During a delay, Unlimited remains available. Your device’s UTC date decides whether the published Daily is current. Progress stays in this browser only. If storage is unavailable, the game still works but a refresh may lose progress.

Which Solver should I use?
Trail Helper uses this game’s versioned 2,220-word list. The Word Ladder Solver accepts your own endpoints of 3–6 letters and a broader dictionary, so it can find a different minimum. Its results do not set Par here. Classic Word Ladder and its original Daily Archive keep their own four-letter rules.
