HOW TO PLAY

Find the word.
Join its ends.

Find all six words from the list in the 6×6 grid. Words run horizontally or vertically, forward or backward. There are no diagonal or bent words.

Choose either end of a word, then choose the other end. A found word gets a check mark in the list and its letters are underlined. A wrong or repeated selection leaves your progress unchanged.

Controls

Mouse or touch: click or tap the two ends. No dragging is needed. Keyboard: Tab to the grid, move with arrow keys, and press Enter or Space to choose each end. Escape or Cancel selection clears the current selection.

Hint outlines the first letter of one unfinished word and names that word. You still find the other end. Replay and puzzle switches ask before clearing an unfinished game.

Your progress

The counters show words found and hints used. There is no timer, score or leaderboard. The current puzzle, chosen theme and completed puzzle IDs are saved locally. There is no cross-device sync or dated puzzle history; clearing browser site data removes the save. If storage is blocked, you can still play.

A short word search break

18 small, independently arranged puzzles use familiar English words. Choose Halloween for three costume-and-night puzzles, Nature & space for five outdoor and sky puzzles, or Everyday life for ten familiar settings. All themes keeps the full library available. Play new prioritises unfinished boards within your chosen theme; Replay keeps your completed count. Switching away from an unfinished puzzle asks before replacing it.

Tips

Scan for a listed word’s first letter, then look along its row and column.
Check backward too: a word may read right to left or bottom to top.
Use the check marks to track remaining words. After a hint, look in all four straight directions from the outlined cell.
